I dont do it for one team and not another....When you throw the ball situation into it, and the fact these arent teams that practice every week, 25-30 seconds is fine. The rule is to keep the game flowing, I dont "decide" when and who to do that too. Offutt...where did I say I give one team 30 and one team 25...See, there you go again jumping on your school girl rampage. Here's some advice about the semantics of life....Dont make assumptions.

You just said sometimes I give teams 30 seconds.. Why don't u read the rules and follow them.. Why are u so defensive. You act like a little kid then accuse me of it.. Whatever I don't care I'm a grown man I just want to be treated the same as everyone else

I treat everyone the same. Problem is you got guys that have never officiated anything placing the ball at the end of the last play, there needs to be confirmation from that official to the official with the play clock to start. Otherwise no one knows when the play clock is to start. But we cant expect the guys that volunteer to officiate to be textbook. It's just how it is. Also....you think I'm going to call a delay of game on a team getting beat 40-0...Your'e crazy. I'm a registered basketball official and have been doing it for 6 years...its common accepted practice that when youre officiating a game and its completely out of hand, you do your best to make sure the kids don't get embarrassed, its the same concept here.
Act like a grown man on the field if you say youre a grown man. All I've seen you do is act like a teenager out to prove a point. Again, anything I say here is not to get you mad or anything like that and there is nothing I say on this message board that I would not say to you in person.

lol...there you go again throwing out comments.."tough guy"
you can question calls and complain, but dont call out the character of someone that you dont even know when you dont even have the facts straight. That's all I'm saying. Good luck next week.

Just for some clarification, not that it will help at this point. In my original post, when I referred to both teams being guilty, I meant guilty of penalties. At no time did I say the Steelers were playing dirty, just that there was some dirty plays being made and I think we all know who that was.

The drama is fun, I dont think anyone is taking this message board too seriously. At least I hope not, well maybe Richie, but thats all. The only thing that may come from these kinds of posts will be good things like making changes in league operations, etc...
It makes for a good story line and keeps things interesting.

Yeah there were deff. a few guys on the lions that weren't up to sportsmanship standards. Whining, complaining the whole time, and even talking about fighting. C'mon now grow the fuck up, im sure a few guys on our team (steelers) would have no problem taking you up on the fighting issue. However, there is absolutely no reason to fight over flag football, period! Its pretty bad when your family comes to watch you play and one of them says to you, "the only thing i've seen you do all day is bitch and complain". Just play the game!

u know what i have found to fix all these issues. just dont break the rules. if u dont do anything illegal then no one throws flags on u. i stay in bounds when catching passes, i dont hold or pass interfere, i dont talk trash, i simply come out and enjoy playing. maybe this is old age talking but bart does a great job with this league giving us all something to do and something we enjoy on our sundays. be happy we even have such a good league to play on.

Well said. That was the main point I was trying to make in the original post. Clean the games up and the refs won't have to make any calls, therefore making it more enjoyable for the teams and the refs!
