Well, what is usually considered the biggest week of SFL football has been quite a roller coaster ride. I'm still not 100% convinced that this game will even happen, but heck, we didn't know if half the games this season were going to happen and we predicted them anyways, so here we go.
SFL Bowl IV - Raiders vs Bengals - I think the beginning of the season, most talk surrounding the league, thought that this was the Raiders destiny. I think there were lots of questions surrounding the Bengals, which were questions we were prepared to answer. Number 1 question on everyone's mind was, "How will Davisson be able to keep this much talent happy, along with getting the chemistry needed to win?" Well, I will answer that now. I had nothing to do with it! I built a team around talent, with maturity(responsibility), and putting the success of the team above individual stats. Bengals it has been a lot of fun this season, Thank you.
Enough said on that, the Raiders are banged up and the Bengals are banged up. The bottom line here is depth. Just like in all sports, the best team is the team that can sustain injuries and not miss a beat.
Prediction - Bengals 45, Raiders 26.......But when it is all over with, Bart will still claim that things would have been different if they didn't have injuries.
