1:00... Bears vs Steelers
I look for the Steelers to pick up their first win. I think this game will be closer than the experts think but the Speed of the Steelers will be to much in the end.
Steelers 26 Bears 19
2:30... Raiders vs Dolphins
I think this game will be a battle to, but this will be the real Dolphins first game and the Raiders have 6 defensive touchdowns.
Raiders 33 Dolphins 14
3:45... Lions vs Texans
SFL cross town rivaly game. Texans had a good looking squad last week but the Lions are rolling in their last three halves.
Lions 27 Texans 26
record: 5-1 on the predictions! ONLY loss b/c Godfrey never showed.

Time to get it going again. How'd I do last week? 3-0, but that doesn't break it down well enough.
I had Raiders winning 49-12 and it ended up 46-6. Chalk that up as a great prediction.
I had the Bengals winning 38-28 and it ended 32-26. Another close one!
In the game I suited up for, I said the Lions would win 28-13. It was 51-20. I was WAY off on this one.
Ok, now onto Week 3 predictions, which for being close on a few of last week's game, I'll probably be so far off this time around. That's how it goes, but still gotta get it in, Dynamite Danny style.
Bears vs Steelers. I only got to see about 10 minutes of the Steelers/Bengals game last week, but the Steelers have some crazy fire. If they can keep their cool, the talent seems to definitely be there and it's legit. I don't think the Bears get quite enough credit, maybe since they're mostly youngsters, but I say experience prevails here. Steelers win, 42-24.
Raiders vs Dolphins. Apparently the softball crew will be back at full strength here? I guess we'll know more on the Dola lineup closer to weekend time. With that said, the Dolphins can't do much worse than the first few weeks you wouldn't think, but stranger things have happened. Raiders are a well oiled machine, so I'm going in that direction for my pick. Raiders win, 50-21.
Lions vs Texans. Don't look now, but the hype machine I've been behind for a few years is really a contender I think. This team is getting the ball rolling and definitely has momentum on their side. How many do the Texans show up with this week? That's the question every single week. Due to that, I can't predict them for any wins thus far until they get an actual true lineup in order. Lions win, 48-12.
3 big scores for the winners here. As usual, I could be way off. Step up and get these big wins if you feel otherwise. What do I know though?
Rumor has it that due to Frontier Days being in the big town of Shinnston that the carnies may migrate to Timbertown for the day. Get your parking spots early, it's gonna be a packed house with all of the local legends showing up for these epic games.

Predictions 1pm- Steelers 41 Bears 20 Depends on how our D plays and if i can throw the ball to the right team more often. I've heard the bears are tough but my guys are hungry
2:30- Raiders 35 Dolphins 19 Raiders D looks tough and puts a couple Defensive TDs but the Dola Dolphins dont get blown out this week
3:45- Texans 29 Lions 27 Texans got some athletes and will pull it together this week in a close shootout that goes down to the wire
BENGALS-- The big losers this week because they have a bye...

2-1 so far, but the Lions vs Dolphins last week shouldn't count, because nobody knows who will play for each team without inside info. Steelers - 38 Bears - 29 Stevie Buck throws for 3 tds and runs for 1, but it is still not enough. The speed of the Steelers help them to break a few big ones. Don't miss any flags Bears or it could be a long afternoon! Raiders - 33 Dolphins - 28 If Dolphins bring their full roster, this one could come down to the wire. Raiders defense only scores one time this week and their offense has not really had to step up in the first two games. Bishop throws for 2 tds and Turtle runs for two, but just comes up short of the win. Lions - 40 Texans - 20 Lions "O" continues to get it done and O'Brien puts up more stats. Texans bring at least 8 maybe 9 this week, but still struggle to get the ball to the playmakers due to lack of QB. Godfrey needs to assume the leadership of the team and figure out a way to get them going offensively or they may not win a game this year. BENGALS - The big winners this week because the OLD MEN have a week to work the soreness out before the battle with the RAIDERS!

I'll be in attendance for the Raiders-Dolphins game Sunday. I'll have my notebook with me. Bart and Harmer probably had mics installed in the field so they could hear our huddles and have Carlan on the 3rd floor of the middle school taping all of our games.
