LOL good call Nostradamus.....If I were the Steelers the first thing I would do would be to get rid of the grade school gym class jerseys and give the shoulder pads in them back to my mom. Then maybe you can complete a pass other than a shovel or an option. This isnt like the pansy ass Morgantown flag leagues boys.....Better redesign the wrist bands...
The Raiders and Texans...8 on 7 without a QB that could throw equals Godfrey not being utilized. Lots of Int's for the Raiders.

Alright Mitch, I agree, but give credit where credit is due. They do TALK a good game on and off the field. Chalk another "W" up for the old men! Steelers did prove that they do have some speed and should compete week in and week out. Welcome to the SFL Steelers, hats off to you for the effort and hope to see you in the playoffs!

The Shane Falco Dolphins put up the good fight but ended up getting rocked. 51-20 the Lions did their thing, so I definitely give them props for the huge win. We only had 8 guys and struggled to get that many.
Casey was pretty sharp all day and had his game going and an all around good guy for this league. I was joking that Deon picked the wrong week to show up, he wasn't even needed, but he played the whole game. The guy I was impressed with was Jordan Swiger. I believe that's the one, correct me if I'm wrong, the dude with the white doo rag. Anyways, everyone was talking about him being an early candidate for most exciting player award. This kid is legit, some serious wheels and can get up and grab any ball. He's going to be a tough matchup for any secondary, even the main teams in the league, he's that good. Bart was saying Jake Lockett may be the biggest player to score a TD in our league. Did Morris score last year? I know he had a few pitch runs drawn up for him. Prairie has some game too. Barker has assembled a nice crew here. Maybe because I'm always biased by liking these North View dudes, but that's how it goes. Walker played his usual game too, did very well on the ground.
With being short on numbers, I had to play offense which I'm usually not a big fan of. I love playing D and felt I held my own when manning up 1-on-1, but played a lot of zone too. The only bad move I felt I made was getting crossed up on the goal line during one play and Deon got me in the corner, but when you get beat 51-20, every single player could find bad plays and then some. Bart, help me out on the SMU guy we had. I liked that guy, he's got some wheels if someone could use him, he can get up and down the field and I liked playing secondary with him.
We didn't have any line which killed us. We were basically a bunch of little dudes going up against Barker, Lockett and Big Vito? on the line, they had some head busters on the line indeed. Our "line" consisted of a mix of Linville, P, Travis Paul and Southern. Needless to say, not the typical linemen, but we made it all work out. P might've had the best play of the game on his big breakaway TD.
Anyways, I'm done rambling. Nice job Lions. I had a blast out there today, good work Dolphins, we did what we could.

to mbarnes... keep talking man.. i have a lot of respect for a lot of the guys from the bengals. You won by 6 in a meaningless regular season game.. last time i checked 2-0 didnt win the championship, theres a lotta game left.. everyone knew u all had ballplayers but its not like that wasnt a damn good game.

Gd Game Offutt! U have a gd team and I'm sure will meet again. For the hype machine this wasn't the TOUGHEST D I PLAYED AGAINST! I would have 2 stick with SLIPPERY ROCK PA! It was funny when Offutt tried to tackle me! LOL Offutt just be glad we dropped a few passes or it could've been worse. It was a fun game! Gd Luck!
Bart did u set this bye week up for a reason! It sucks being off again! LOL

For your information, Adam Davisson was supposedly going to be out of town this weekend so I hooked you guys up with a bye so he didn't have to miss. He informed me that he isn't going now though. I try to hook everyone up with a needed bye, I was going to give you guys the week off the Barnes Boyz couldn't be there but that fell on the first round of the playoffs, but you guys will prob have a bye anyway.
PS: Harmer isn't smart enough to manipulate the market and schedule lol... he doesn't even know what side of the field he should be on half of the time officiating. ;D

Harmer can manipulate a secondary lol... I'll leave it at that.
The league is fun, guys enjoy it so I don't mind doing it at all. Just always scared to severly injure myself. Two years ago I seperated my shoulder and it wasn't fun, can't work... physical therapy, missed most of the season etc. Everyone takes a risk in this league by playing. Only thing I hate is getting referees, picking up trash and making sure Clarksburg has 8 guys.
