Pre Season Predictions

Were almost a week away boys and girls.

Prediction Time!!!

Final Standings:

1. Raiders - Defense wins championships and a 3 time MVP winner to boot.
2. Bengals - offseason juggernaut in free agency.
3. Steelers - Sleeper. Offut will make plays and they will be in better shape than most of the league.
4. Lions - Jack Barker quietly puts great teams together. I just don't see all these guys showing up every week.
5. Bears - Simply went from 6 or 7 to 5th with solidifying qb situation.
6. Dolphins - with so many softball players they will need Shane Falco in September.
7. Texans - they look like a mess on paper, Nick Alex will you come back??

A lot of the following is based off first hand knowledge of SFL veterans and playing with some other guys in other sports. New Guys in the league will have a chance to be on this list down the road but ya gotta prove it!

MVP Candidates:
Harmer - 4 straight?
Harman - Hype Machine or Real Deal?
Matt Offut - A lot of Talking, w/ A lot of Speed
Buckhannon - CWB. Check W/ Buck. Did he make right choice?
Bailey - Big Ego. Big Plays.
Godfrey - Scary fast, but will he suffer w/ out proven qb?
Jarrod West - sources say he is flag football stud.
Richie Crites - Most hated player in league is a hall of famer, get over it.
Todd Anderson/Germaine Johnson/Jason Trent - Oh yea by the way the Bengals signed 3 of FSU all time leading wr's. At least one will be a stud, one has had to get fat and old, and the third will be a no show half the time. Just don't know which will do what.

Best Arm: Bryan Harman
Most Accurate: Jeremy Harmer
Best Scramber: Jeremy Harmer, Steve Buckhannon
Best Athlete: Bryan Harman, Matt Offut
Biggest Question Mark(s): Clarksburg Qb situation and Casey O'brian for the Lions (when is the last time he threw a ball?)
Sleeper: Justin Bishop. He can light both scoreboards up

Fastest: I'm gonna go there will be a new guy in the league who will surprise people.
Most Elusive: Jerry Riffle, can this guy get a touch?
Best Vision: Richie Crites, More big runs than anyone in SFL history, plus 2 punt returns
Sleeper: Jordan Swiger.... Lions

Fastest: Matt Godfrey, Aaron Bailey, Tony Shade, Germaine Johnson, Eli Cottrill, Turtle Luchuck, Ivan Hawkins, John Coon and the Steelers will prob have a stud athlete that we will soon know.
Best Hands: Zak Bart, Matt Godfrey, Aaron Bailey, Todd Anderson, Barnes Boyz
Sleeper: Clark Riley... catches the ball and runs good routes.

Best Pass Rushers
Zach Demarco, David Kipp, Deon Dobbs, Mike Walker, Tyler Linville, Tyler Dufour, Adam Davisson,
Sleeper: Blue Rowan... Bengals lol.

Best Flag Pullers
Ben Linville, Josh Sabala, Clark Riley, Kenny Healey,
Sleeper: J.L. Weisenberger (ask Romeo why)

Hey Bart, just wondering............which of the three FSU wr's did you think was fat and old in week 1! Now, the only thing that you can hope stands true with your preseason prediction is that one of them only shows up half the time! By the way, we BENGALS are all old, but that doesn't mean we can't burn the wheels off of our walkers, LOL!
