NOTRE DAMES PRACTICE FIELD NEAR NORTH VIEW. DONT KNOW WHO OWNS IT AND NOT SURE IF THEY PLAY POP WARNER THERE ON SUNDAYS. WORTH A SHOT TO CALL AROUND AND ASK.

NVAC in North View would be a good place (Not just saying this because I'm on the Lions). The football field is about 90yards long and it is plenty wide enough. While in High School we played football there every Sunday. We were never questioned or told to leave. Only thing they use it for is Babe Ruth baseball, which is over now. I also like what bailey said about Hite Field. Liberty doesnt use it any more, so the field should be in good condition. But they do have a few pop warner football teams that play there. I'm not sure if they are there on Sunday's or not.

Bart- I got in touch with Dave Sturm. I'm waiting to hear back.
We should definitely exhaust all options in Shinnston/Lumberport before we consider going elsewhere. I think there's a few decent options we just need to contact someone to get permission.
And depending on where we end up, we may have to get even tougher on language/garbage, etc..

Talked to Chubby Demarco today via text, he is pretty much guaranteeing that we won't have to find a field outside of shinnston/lport and that his dad isn't ruling out LMS still as of yet. So Hopefully he and his dad pull some strings and were back at it, I'll keep everyone updated.

I heard back from Board Member Dave Sturm, he's gonna bring up the issue at the board meeting Tuesday to try and get some clarification on the insurance issue and if we really need it.

Nice Job Mitch... hopefully we will still be at LMS but if the board basically weeds us out, then we will start looking officially for a new field. I drove by shinnston park yesterday just to see if it is dooable and it def. is. There are plenty of options so we should be good.

I just wanted to get a final/official ruling on LMS. That way we can find somewhere else. We should probably know by Wednesday morning/afternoon. I'll let you know what he tells me.

I really thought when I saw the bad news for sfl it was bc everyone had realized that there is a new juggernaut in the sfl that is coming to burn all of your houses down  haha |
