Where the hell is Turtle and his clan? They have a roster yet? Maybe they just don't have internet or phone service out in Wallace.

I've contacted Turtle twice now, he is supposed to email me his roster. I'm going to give him a couple days before I get irritated. If he doesn't have a sound roster I may open up his team slot, b/c there are a couple new teams trying to get in. Turt has ran teams before and he said has a roster so I'm fine with waiting for him, he's prob. playing in 30 softball tourneys a week right now.
All I can tell you about the Dolphins is Bishop is the qb. ;D

I'm digging the Shane Falco reference for the August/September version of the Dola Dolphins. I guess since I used to rock with Dola Dairy Mart in the glory days of Jerry West ball that I'm all but set to suit up on Sunday to open up the week. I may even have to go to the Dola Dairy Mart and get my old jersey hanging in the rafters to wear during this game.
Who will be singing the anthem for opening ceremonies? Carlin? Perry Del Rio? Or maybe we could get SFL's very own Mitch Barnes to jam and start it out on the right foot. I'm down for that one Mitch.
Probably not the greatest team to try to end my league leading 0-11 streak against, but stranger things have happened. Any other Dolphins on the message board this week that are down on Sunday for sure? Mikey Keller and Joey Allen were heard to be warming their arms up for possible duties. Stay tuned.
But in all seriousness, time to gear up for Week 1! Bungals, a lot of you are my boys from last year and we play basketball together all year long, but excited to get it going and see what happens. On paper, that team looks sick, I'm sure the world will be watching. Tickets are already sold out I heard.

Turtle contacted me last night and said they are trying to move their game back a couple hours. If this happens the "replacements" won't be needed. If they don't move it back so far I have Ed, Posey, Maditz and maybe a few others ready to roll.

Our softball commish has yet to respond to calls or texts. I am off work today and will be ringing his phone off the hook until I get an answer from him. If nothing else I think I could talk the guys into forfeitting our 1st round softball game so we can play flag instead. Bowers got everyone fired up the other night with all the talk about finishing last and being overrated.....bring on the bengals!!!

Nice! Talent wise you guys aren't the 7th team that is for sure, but just didn't know who was going to be playing half the time.
