OK, starting off, everyone can rest easy that the BENGALS are just fine. I'm not 100% sure on all of the rumors, but I am sure that the solid base is still intact. If we have lost Buck, then that is actually all that we lost, because we never really had Bailey, and never planned on having him anyways. The Bengals lost talent, but as "Bart" would be concerned with, I think we may have gained team chemistry. I must say Bart, me being 32 yrs old and growing up in farm country where ego's were never bigger than the team as a whole, I am getting an education. I guess everything is different in the big city LOL! Lastly, Bart, Harmer, I have this mental picture of you taking a big sigh of relief as you manipulate each team's roster to try to remain at the top of the league, but don't relax just yet, there is a lot of football to be played and we are still planning on bringing plenty of fire power. LET'S GO!!!

Lets get some things straight A.D.
(I know you love taking shots at me, and I love it, I'm glad someone does it or I wouldn't get to have any fun with the rest of you guys)
- Ego. Harmer and I damn well have big ego's... however are ego's aren't on individual recognition. Now You want to call out your boy A.B. go ahead, he's never won a playoff game. But don't call out two guys who have won a combined 3 SFL titles and one inadvertin (sp) whistle away from winning every SFL title played for. Harmer is the best player to play in the league and means a lot more to the team than I do, he's a quarterback. But you better be ready to double team me, I don't think you witnessed the first two years of the league when I was out wide. You thought the Raiders were good last year, wait until we can go for 40 a game and now threaten to shut teams out. There are some really good teams in the league but NO ONE has the chemistry the Raiders do.
- It never gets old when people say we just want to beat Harmer and Bart, whether its basketball, football, tennis ball baseball, tecmo superbowl, marbles or diesel truck driving in the mud. We love the target and we love winning. Thank you for making the Bengals whole season about beating us in week whatever. We the Raiders just want another ring. Maybe You guys can just make it to the finals this year?
- Lastly we have not manipulated anyone's roster. We picked up Kipp a week ago after Barker's roster was released but Harmer was recruiting him since last December. Once Kipp made sure his friend Jack Barker had enough lineman he didn't feel bad about leaving. He wanted to come the whole time but didn't want to leave his buddy hanging.
I had nothing to do with what has transpired the last couple days, all I did was field phone calls and pass information so no one was surprised when someone shows up week one with a different colored shirt on. If I didn't call Fortney and pass the information you would have had no clue today that your roster lost two guys.

ahhh. don't forget Maditz blew the whistle before Richie's flag got pulled and Richie made it to the 3/4 yard line. Instead we had a 3rd and goal from the 18. We score there we take the lead and Gearde is throwing a Hail Mary to win.

Alright Bart, two things. First, I love competing with you and Harmer at everything and I take shots at you, because I know I am going to get an intelligent response. Secondly, maybe I wasn't clear on the ego thing, but it wasn't directed towards you or Harmer it was directed towards anyone in the league that wants to be "Superstar". But after your reply, everyone viewing can decide if the shoe fits. We will lace them up over the next few months and let the scoreboad do the talkin', just wish I knew what personnel I had to work with.

I'm headed to the Elk to catch some brown trout, I'm afraid after I come back tomorrow evening you won't have a receiving core lol...
Again the Bengals will be fine if Harman gets adjusted ok.

My name (harmer) sure does get thrown around in these messages alot! and thats fine, i guess thats what happens when you win!....but all i wanna say is i had nothing to do with anyone leaving the bengals! i was with Buck when he got the call from the Bears and he said he was interested. When he asked me what i thought, i responded if you wanna play Qb be a Bear if you wanna be a role player be a Bengal and he said..." Why the hell would i wanna run routes that say CHECK WITH ME ".....it was actually funny as shit lol (guess ya had to be there.) ......So i just wanted to clear that up there A.D  ....RAIDER NATION! |
