Game Cancelled

Well, who seen this coming, lol! Raiders have notified Bengals today, that they now have two more guys going out of town tomorrow. Raiders have asked Bengals to reschedule or the Bengals win by forfeit. I have sent mass text to Bengals to see if we can reschedule, but some of them are out of town and out of service until late tonight. There definitely will not be a game tomorrow and I will keep the SFL world updated on the status, since Bart seems to have went into some kind of silent stage.

LOL..hell we wished we've known that we could have notified the league that we couldn't play last week because we had players out of town. 2 of our best weren't able to play last week. Just don't seem right, especially when everyone knew the schedule of the playoffs for a while now. I think the game should be played tomorrow and if Raiders can't field a team of their own players and can't pick up other qualified players, then they should to forfeit as other teams had to do in the playoffs. Just my opinion.

yea thats pretty dumb cuz if the game is next week im def not gonna be there...........i just wish we would play and get it over with......this DAMN league went to hell fast...you could just tell the league was screwed after we cancelled the last week...........well just keep everything posted about the rescheduling of the game!

Due to conflicting schedules and fairness to all teams that had to either play without or forfeit, due to key guys being out week to week, the Bengals have decided to accept the forfeit from the Raiders, crowning the Bengals, SFL Champs! Bart has agreed and should be commenting soon. The Bengals front office will be releasing a statement within the next 24 hrs.

The bengals were going to win regardless. I thank Bart for running the league for as long as he has and I would like to congratulate the bengals on their championship. They deserve it and I hope to see them in a league next year. I know thats how no one wanted the year to end out, but IM glad the best team took it home

Bart, Why didn't you just cancel the game earlier in the week? u knew that u and most of ur pussy ass players didn't want to play the game! I drove 2 1/2 hours last nite to come home and play in this so called Championship game! U can talk about how everyone didn't show up for regular season game but ur pussy ass does this!!!! Wow!!! The Steelers have every right to be pissed as well because they had to show up against ur team and play the game as well!!! #2 Steelers (Showed up and played every weekend!!
#3 Bears (Because they showed up in Playoffs except for Bailey) But they did show up!
#4 Lions (They never showed up but at least they told us head of time they 4feit)!!!
#5 Texans (They took there worst ass beaten 90-6)
#6 Dolphins (Never hardly showed up)
#7 RAIDERS (CANT EVEN SHOW UP AND PLAY BIGGEST GAME OF THE SEASON) I KNOW ITS NOT ALL OF THE RAIDERS BUT UR CHOICE 2 PLAY ON THERE TEAM!! HARMER I KNOW U WOULD'VE BEEN THERE...

I GUESS MOST OF THE RAIDERS DECIDED 2 STAY HOME AND LICK THERE WOUNDS!!!!

Look here fags, talk trash and take the forfeit. If you guys couldn't have played this weekend we wouldn't have said a word. Bank on that. We would have gladly played you any other time.

This has nothing to do with injuries. We were prepared to play until Sat. afternoon.

- Seth Williams had a wedding to be in out of state.
- Jeremy Harmer had to go to Wheeling for Playoff meeting.
- Tyler Linville had a job meeting in Pittsburgh which he found out about Friday.

I didn't find out Harmer was going to be out of town until Sat. afternoon. We were prepared to play without Seth and Tyler but when Harmer said he was headed out, then we wouldn't have had enough.

We tried to rescheduled, but The Bengals, not the Raiders are the ones who can't play the rest of Fall/Winter. We were prepared to play w/out Richie next week as well.

Davisson stated the weather would be to bad and that everyone would fall out of game shape and that he couldn't get his guys on the same page. I agreed with that but we were ready to play at any other time regardless of snow, injuries, or nuclear warfare.

Harman you can talk all you want, just remember some of us actually had shit to do one weekend of the year and it wasn't even bullshit related like most teams in the league. Take your forfeit and celebrate. I know you want a shot at the Raiders, but some of your guys would rather take the easy way out.

If Trent, Anderson, Harman, maybe even throw in Fortney were going to miss, we wouldn't have dared played you guys, because that isn't how we roll. Now if one of your other role players weren't going to be there we would have played, but we would have at least tried to help you guys out and let you make the call.

As much as the Raiders do for the league, RUN THE LEAGUE, Referee, and help clean up everyone's shit week in, week out, I think the Raiders who have also been doing this for 4 years needs a little more respect than that. Maybe once in 6 years of playing we needed someone to cut us one break, but hey that is how the world turns.

Yeah its funny how all you guys talk so much shit on here, but the raiders are the ones who have been doing everything for this league the past 4 years. And mainly you HARMAN how the hell can you even say anything to bart!!! hes the only reaason this league exists!! Yes some of the Raiders have been a major part in running the league, but don't forget about some of the Bengals. Ive put a ton of time and effort into reffing, stats, etc.. I don't think anyone is taking shots at Bart or anything abou the league in that regard. The only way to settle this will be on the field. If not then it will always be a mystery. Its a tough situation cuz raiders cant be there today, we cant the next week, so forfeit or move it back to a date when everyone can be there so we can settle it once and for all. I just want the chance to play the Raiders again so I can push my personal record to 4-1 against them and 2-0 in the championship. I don't want to forfeit, I enjoy picking Harmer and beating the Raiders.

And if we ever do play I dare any Raider WR to go deep on me, and I dare Harmer to actually throw it.

I know your a big time competitor, and I love guys like that. The facts are simple.

I have 3 guys going basically out of state. One for a wedding, One for work and the other for Coaching.

We had a free agent lined up to come, a legal one at that to fill the squad.

Mitchel there is NO DOUBT a few Bengals play a huge part in the league. I can't thank you enough. I didn't mention that because the Raiders are basically the ones being called out. I was just trying to defend my guys.

And Harman I know this contexual analysis of the English Language also known as words and sentences don't make much sense to you,

BUT... what do you not understand that I was notified FRIDAY NIGHT about Linville, and SATURDAY afternoon about Harmer???

Now theoretically, and I mean theoretically, If I was notified FRI and SAT, how could I have cancelled it earlier in the week? Now if I was blessed with a rocket laser arm that could throw a text message back in time through a black hole reversing time from Fri to Monday, then maybe I understand why you think I could have done that.
