With our playoff lives on the line we cant get 8 people to show up to play the Texans, and we were worried they wouldnt have enough people there to make a game. smfh

It was a forfeit and the sad thing is that the Texans may qualify for the playoffs without actually winning a game! The worst part about it is that we switched the early and late game for the Dolphins and then they don't show. If the Bears beat the Dolphins this week, the Texans will be in. If the Dolphins beat the Bears, there will be a three way tie for the last two spots in the playoffs. Help me out Bart, Mitch........a forfeit = 0 points margin of victory? Now I am confused!

i would say we will lose the tie breaker with everyone so we r def out. us being the dolphins.

Yeah but the texans have had to forfeit also... So try to beat the bears.. The dolphins can def beat the bears

The only thing I don't like about the Texans or the Dolphins qualifying is will they show up for a playoff game? I, also don't like the fact that there is so many guys(free agents) willing to play and show up week to week, but neither team has been cooperating with the league to help them fill the rosters.

i cant say that i dissagree. y join if ur not going to play. there are reasons people cant make it and i understand that but to sit at home and just not play cause ur watching football or tired is ridiculous. dont even ask to play if u cant show up.

Bart, it sounds like "allnight" has the right mentality about all of this! Maybe he could have some authority over getting some guys there this week for the Dolphins?

Like the previous thread I'll respond to this tomorrow.
Albright I was thinking about the score issue.
Usually the team who "forfeits" gets their eyes beat shut and it isn't an issue. Yesterday though the Dolphins were fortunate to pick up Myself, Harmer, Cree, Craig and Abdul lol... not a bad free agent class. We ended up beating the Texans 20 - 12. Now we can't keep that score b/c if things came down to margin of victory tie breakers, it isn't fair for the Texans who had 8 guys there in the biggest game of their season who lost to replacements, to get credited with an even worse margin of victory. I will reward the Texans with a 21-20 victory instead. I think this is beyond fair on both sides.
* Stats for this game will be slightly fabricated to season averages and what guys actually did Sunday.
