Bart, not looking good for field conditions this week. Someone may want to check the field now, because according to what I have been seeing, it is only going to get worse by Sunday! Rain tonight and another 1/4 inch of rain tomorrow with a shower or two left over Sunday morning. I am all for a good mud bath, but I am not sure if the school would appreciate us out there. Also, would hate to see any injuries because of the field being a total mess.

I'll drive by here in a few hours on my way home from work. I went by yesterday evening. The field is better than Sunda but still muddy in the middle portion.

Just play it by ear. It may end up being ok or it may monsoon. If it gets bad we will cancel this week. Just make sure you have your phone on standby Sunday morning.
I'm not opposed to playing in a drizzle. A downpoor not happening, did that last year.
I say we just cancel the season and the Bengals and Raiders play a best of 5.

Drove by last nite around 6:30....same as Sunday maybe worse..they had been practicing off to the side.

How's that make sense? the raiders and bengals aren't the best two teams.. Oh and we shouldn't cancel Sunday.. I'm down to play in a little mud makes things exciting

LMS's turf isn't exactly good to begin with and with all the rain this fall it has been even worse. If we play on it sunday if the weather is bad it just ruins it for the rest of the year. But you never know it may not be that bad tomorrow.

I'm assuming if we don't play this weekend that we just push everything back a week, right? Well at least I hope that's what happens. We (Steelers) don't want to miss out playing any games.
