ESPN just reported that College Game Day will not be leaving the Morgantown area Saturday after the LSU game. Rather, they will be staying overnight and heading to Lumberport on Sunday afternoon to cover the Raiders/Bengals. The Bengals house one of the most overrated quarterbacks that the league has ever seen. Move over, Harman... Offut is well on his way to being the new QB sensation. As for the Raiders, your cornerbacks got torched by justin bishop. Zach DeMarco only gets sacks against subpar lines, and Sabala, you do a lot of talkin, but I don't recall you EVER makin a big play this year.  Both teams are really overrated -- look for the Lions and the Steelers to battle it out for the title this year. |

Nice, finally the national attention the SFL deserves! Remember fellas, this board is a big part of what makes the SFL so much fun. I have had more fun this week so far than any other week up to this point and we aren't really even close to game day yet. Story lines should be developed every single week to keep this board as active as it has been this week. Keep it clean, don't take it personal, and get creative, otherwise it is just a boring board. Not sure who started this post and even though they are taking shots my team, this is what it is all about. Thanks to all who have participated so far this week and keep it going!

Your gonna see a few of the steelers noodle arms hitting u in the jaw if u keep taking shots at me like that. It was our first game I'm 2 years and you won by 6.. Great job and we still should have won.. You deserve a massive cookie bengals and you should be so proud to be 2-0 you guys are unbelievable..

Gotta admit, the message board stuff this week has been on fire! I don't know many of the Steelers guys other than Campbell and a few others, but Offut and his boys have really rocked the board out and made it exciting,. All in fun of course and some people get riled up over it, but I see them as the new guys to the board this year, similar to what the Bridgeport crew brought last year on the board, being way active.

Breaking news details from early this morning have emerged! Apparently a conversation that took place at a local nightclub in the wee hours of this morning has revealed that late Tuesday night Zak Bart was asked to place a small friendly wager on this Sunday's Bengals vs Raiders contest. The details of the wager have not been confirmed at this point. Our source says that Bart entertained the idea of a wager, but once the Bengals disclosed the payout option, Bart's immediate response was "NO WAY". One can't help but wonder what the details of the wager were and why Bart decided against the offer. Was it too personal? Does he not have enough confidence in his team? Hopefully, as more information becomes available, we will be able to bring some clarification to the situation. The Bengals front office has denied comment and Mr. Bart's office phone has gone unanswered throughout the day.

Was subbing today and my phone died... looked like I missed a heated day on the board...
the wager was my girlfriend had to make pepperoni rolls for the entire bengals squad if they beat us this week. I said No Way. I don't think Kass deserved to be sacraficed since I ask her to help out with the league the amount she does.
Noodle Arm lol I hear that so much about guys. Anyone outside of Harman, Nick Alex, and Nick Gearde has a noodle arm. Those 3 had/have absolute bazookas!!! O'brien has a solid arm, I'd say the second best in the league. Harman is by far the hardest thrower but I would say Gearde and Alex could give him a run for his money. Nick Alex by far threw the best ball/spiral.
Technically the Steelers need the Raiders to lose more than the Bengals. If the Raiders win and the Steelers beat the Raiders there is a 3 way tie. If the Bengals win and the Steelers beat the Raiders the Steelers clinch 2nd if they win out. I honestly trust Offut and his squad in being neutral. I know over the years some of us have grown tired of his act but he's a lot better than he used to be and I think he wants to stick around in the SFL so I have faith in him. No matter what I look for things to get heated Sunday just because of how competitive both teams are.

So Bart, does that mean that you would still consider a friendly wager if your girlfriend wasn't involved? Not that I was involved on the first one, but I am just wondering! I'm sure Offutt and his boys could help us come up with something that would be fair for both sides involved.
